Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation on TV. In 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father as well as an Irish-American mother from Columbus Ohio. It wasn't long before she moved to Texas. In Texas, she started a new career in physical therapy. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on diverse roles in independent local films as well as global commercials. Small roles didn't deter her from finding out that she was a fan of acting. The year 2001 saw her move to New York where her first role was on All My Children's soap opera in the role of Rosa Santos. There were minor roles in JAG the Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men at the beginning of 2000. In 2004, her first major show was The Mountain. She played Maria Serrano and De La Garza had the privilege to be a part of a cast that included some of the best TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. She played A.D.A. on Law & Order in 2006. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. Her character on the Law & Order: LA spinoff was short lived. The character of De La Garza received several nominations for the show, including Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She was also awarded ALMA Award nods. In 2008, she was awarded the Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza got a regular role on CSI Miami a few moments after. She played Marisol Deko as well as the wife of David Caruso's character Horatio. Most recent TV appearance was as the character Dr. Lena Solis on NBC's slightly dark comedy Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano was canceled by NBC following only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are a Italian father, as well as one sister Cory whom is 10 years younger than her. Her family was conservative and religious one. Milano was only seven years old young when her babysitter drove Milano to a talent show. Four of the four girls chosen out of over 1,000 applicants were chosen by Milano.
